Internet Shopping

Let me tell you a little story. My daughter bought a desk from a home furnishing company based in Cleckheaton, West Yorkshire. It arrived in good time, over a hundred quids worth and pieces of it were broken. So I phoned them and told them. I got a very surly Asian person telling me to return it. No, I said, it weighs over 20kg, you will arrange for your courier to come and collect it. no we will not, you have to send it back. Now, according to the Sales of Goods Act 1979, damaged goods are the responsibility of the sender to get them back. ‘So what’, they said, you want a refund YOU send it back. The problem is that time was not on our side as paypal and eBay only allow so long before they do nothing themselves, a right sorry state of affairs. In the end a friend helped me out and arranged it to go back on his account as couriers will not take anything unless the sender has an account and the home furniture company would not arrange this. Now I am about to follow another route which is easier, but not the fault of the credit card. I am going to claim the costs back from them and let THEM deal with the bastards themselves. Hardly fair, but then again, neither were the company.

So therein lies a lesson, do not use any furniture company based in Cleckheaton, West Yorkshire as you will probably be dealing with the same company I did, and never will again.

Standard of British Referees

Ferguson at an Earlier Altercation with DeanThe scene: Manchester City v Manchester United in the Carling Cup Semi Final first of two legs. The away team, United were winning 1-0 and looking comfortable. The referee decided that a blatant dive by David Bellamy (City) was worthy of a penalty award and, in spite of the fact that all the world could see nothing happened, gave it, converted by Tevez. Score 1-1 and a prime example of a games result being decided, yet again, by a blind official. He then rubbed salt into United’s wounds by giving a corner when the ball had obviously gone out for a United goal kick. This was converted by Tevez. 2-1 to Manchester City was the final score and the referee, Mike Dean, should be struck off the lists for such an abysmal sequence of events which, effectively, decided a football match. The players, clubs or managers did not decide this, but an individual referee who could not see the wood for the trees. I would also point out that another blatant dive, this time by City defender Richards went unpunished by the referee. If the referee decided that it was indeed a dive, why did he not yellow, or red, card, Richards?

Officials decides results, not players, not managers, not clubs and certainly not tactics. No manager in the world can prepare a team for the decisions of such an imbecile as Mike Dean.

I would also like to ask what will be done about the missle thrown that hit Patrice Evra, the United defender?

MUST Deny Fergie Must go Report

Contrary to reports today regarding Manchester United supporters calling for Sir Alex Ferguson to resign MUST (the Manchester United Supporters Trust) wishes to put it on record that we believe the organisation and the vast majority of United supporters are 100% behind Sir Alex Ferguson. The only people we want to see leave Old Trafford are the Glazer family.

All United supporters are entitled to voice their opinion but these comments were made by one individual at a meeting where it was made clear it was private and journalists were briefed that it was totally off the record to allow supporters to speak freely. We believe that all those journalists who attended the meeting respected this agreement but the story came from reports on internet message boards followed by a call direct to Mr Flacks rather than from the meeting itself….

MUST does not believe that the views expressed represented a widespread view of those present and indeed another speaker who offered the counter point of view was given a loud round of applause in response.

We believe Johnny Flacks and indeed every Manchester United supporter is absolutely entitled to express their views but it is important to distinguish individual views from those of organisations or those present at a meeting.

We believe Manchester United has the best manager, the best players and the best supporters. It is only the owners that let our great club down. They should go before they do any more damage.

Utd v Burnley

Three second-half goals secured a hard-fought win for Manchester United against a determined Burnley. Burnley could have taken the lead early on but David Nugent fluffed a good chance when through on goal. And Berbatov made them pay on 64 minutes with a deflected effort before Wayne Rooney dispatched a low drive after Berbatov’s shot was saved. Substitute Mame Diouf headed Antonio Valencia’s cross over the onrushing Brian Jensen to complete the scoring. The win means United remain a point behind Premier League leaders Chelsea, who hammered Sunderland 7-2 at Stamford Bridge. While the final 20 minutes of the game were comfortable for Sir Alex Ferguson’s team, for the preceding 70 they were frustrated by a determined visiting side. New Burnley boss Brian Laws would undoubtedly have preferred an easier first test of his reign. Burnley may have beaten United at Turf Moor earlier in the season but the man who masterminded that result, Owen Coyle, is now Bolton manager and this result means they have failed to improve upon a record of only one away point this season.

Diouf

Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has praised Mame Biram Diouf’s home debut performance in Saturday’s 3-0 victory over Burnley. The 22-year-old striker came off the bench for the last 16 minutes at Old Trafford and got himself on the scoresheet when he raced on to Antonio Valencia’s through ball before heading home. The Senegal international was signed by the Red Devils last summer but remained on loan at Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s former club Molde in order to get acquainted with the European game. Ferguson drafted Diouf back into his squad after losing Federico Macheda to injury and feels he has a bright future ahead of him. “We are quite excited about him,” said Ferguson. “The boy has great spring. He is quick, good in the air and looked to run behind their defence all the time. “He has a lot of good attributes we can use.”

eBay – Customer Friendly?

My daughter is having a right royal tangle with two companies selling through eBay with faulty goods. One agreed to take back and refund, took back and still no refund. The second one, a replacement, arrived broken and they refuse to arrange collection of a 20kg item.  When I try to get onto ebay to make an official complaint and request for site shop to be closed down, navigation is a nightmare, I cannot find either the correct section or the so called instant chat. So, I have to ask, why are these not on open display, for easy access, in the Account section of the member.

Two eBay companies have let us down and eBay is almost invisible in its help areas. Come on eBay, are you with us or against us, your navigation is fine when buying or selling, but for any help, your crap!!

Wootton Bassett March Can Not Be Allowed

Islam4UK, a platform for the global front Al-Muhajiroun, would like to announce the launch of a momentous march that is scheduled to take place in the following weeks, details of which will be released shortly inshaa’allah (God willing).  The destination of this very special event is the small market town of Wootton Bassett, located 6 miles Southwest of Swindon, in northern Wiltshire; Wootton Bassett, is currently famous for its public mourning processions held in memory of British soldiers killed whilst on military service in Afghanistan; coffins containing the dismembered bodies of these soldiers are usually draped in union jack flags and driven through the town centre from RAF Lyneham, as a tribute to their ‘sacrifice’.  The proposed march by members of Islam4UK is however of a very different venture, held not in memory of the occupying and merciless British military, but rather the real war dead who have been shunned by the Western media and general public as they were and continue to be horrifically murdered in the name of Democracy and Freedom – the innocent Muslim men, women and children.

It is quite extraordinary, that with well over 100,000 Muslims killed in Afghanistan in the last 8 years that those military serviceman who have directly or indirectly contributed to their death are paraded as war heroes and moreover honoured for what is ultimately genocide.  We at Islam4UK find this totally unacceptable and as a result have decided to launch the ‘Wootton Bassett March’ to highlight the real casualties of this brutal Crusade.

*****************************************

Like bloody hell you will!!! What the hell is this country coming too? Could you see Nazi’s holding a rally in Hyde Park during WW2, did the north Vietnamese campaign for their ‘rights’ in Washington during the Vietnam war?  What the hell is Islam4UK anyway, is it a subsiduary of Phones4U? Islam is not for the UK, if you do not like it – go back home.  please sign this:  http://petitions.number10.gov.uk/RespectWBassett/
